The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) has partnered with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to make available to the public decisions made by the FCC on GPO’s GovInfo. This represents the first time the FCC Record is available anywhere online in compiled form. Available now for free public access is Volume 38, which represents documents published by the Commission in 2023. Included is the FCC’s first rule focused on scam texting to target and eliminate unlawful text messages. Additional issues will be added day-forward, as FCC publishes them.

The FCC Record is a compilation of the decisions, reports, public notices, and other documents of the FCC. The FCC makes individual documents available as released in the Electronic Document Management System (EDOCS). The EDOCS repository contains full records from March 1996 to present and brief records which may contain documents and associated metadata for releases between 1982 and 1996. The University of North Texas, a GPO Digital Preservation Steward, makes digitized copies of the FCC Record available from 1986 to present in the UNT Digital Library.
