In September 2018, the Library of Congress began releasing Congressional Research Service (CRS) reports to the public at crsreports.congress.gov. In an agreement with the Library, GPO is to catalog individual reports in the series and provide access to the reports through the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP). PURLS in GPO cataloging records link directly to the CRS site. A feature of this agreement is that the CRS will retain copies of digital reports permanently.

To date, GPO has cataloged over 820 individual reports from the crsreports.congress.gov website. Because these reports are frequently updated, GPO has cataloged each report title as an integrating resource.
