  • Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes: In this webinar, you will be introduced to StatsAmerica’s most popular tools, including the Big Radius Tool, Measuring Distress, and Regional Profiles. The Big Radius Tool lets you choose a center point and view data on a radius from 25 to 500 miles from your selection, while Measuring Distress provides indicators of economic distress for counties and census tracts. The Regional Profiles let you view and download data on virtually any place in the United States. Staff will provide a brief demonstration of the tools and show you how to download the data and use it in practice.
  • Webinar Series: Gov Docs 101 is a series of introductory subject webinars on frequently-requested Government information topics. The webinars are designed for newer depository coordinators, however anyone with an interest in the subject may attend.

Prior to the webinar:
For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
