  • Speaker: Stephanie Studds; Chief, Economic Indicators Division; U.S. Census Bureau
  • Learning Outcomes: The Census Bureau has recently created a new series of Pulse Surveys. The Small Business Pulse Survey (SBPS) and the Household Pulse Survey were established very quickly to understand and provide insight on the impact of the pandemic on small businesses and households. As a result, Census is now working to continue collecting qualitative statistics on the U.S. economy through new High Frequency Programs. Census has also expanded the Business Formation Statistics (BFS) Program to release data weekly, monthly, and annually. These programs provided significant insight on the U.S. economy during the pandemic. This webinar will provide an overview of the Pulse Surveys and BFS, how the data are being used, and where you can find the data.
  • Webinar Series:  Gov Docs 101 is a series of introductory subject webinars on frequently-requested Government information topics. The webinars are designed for newer depository coordinators, however anyone with an interest in the subject may attend.
