Clarification Regarding Depository Access to Public Health Reports

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) and our partner, the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH), would like to clarify the requirements for IP access to Public Health Reports (PHR). Depositories have the option of selecting one of two access methods:

  1. IP Authentication
  2. Username and Password

There are restrictions related to both types of access. Read the Library Access Methods section of the Public Health Reports article for specific access requirements.

In the past, access via IP range(s) was permitted. The IP range option is no longer available. Libraries that have previously provided IP address range(s) will need to log into their account and specify up to 50 individual IP addresses. Use the "My Account" feature on the ASPH Web site to modify your library's IP list.

All changes must have been made by March 1, 2013. Accounts not updated by March 1 were reverted to username and password access.

We apologize for any confusion related to IP access.
