Cooperative Cataloging Partnership Guidelines Feedback Requested

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) is interested in your feedback about a new partnership option. Many libraries in the FDLP have voiced interest in establishing cooperative cataloging partnerships with GPO to exchange cataloging records, or work together to catalog older materials, or enhance existing cataloging records to meet current cataloging standards. Draft guidelines have been developed for the establishment of cataloging partnerships or for partnerships (content, service) that have a cataloging component. The goal is to implement this new kind of partnership in early summer 2010.
