How does a large public library promote access to its depository collection? How does it make depository materials accessible to users in multiple branches? California’s Contra Costa County Library has focused on answering these questions. In this month's depository library spotlight, we highlight the combination of free public access and the emphasis on electronic resources that this depository uses to serve the needs of patrons at its twenty-five branches.

By spotlighting the expert services and contributions of our depositories, we share in the strengths and innovations of our partners and help promote the Federal Depository Library Program as an essential American service.
