Paper Format Distribution of the Bound Congressional Record

The bound Congressional Record has been made available to depository libraries in paper format via several item numbers. The bound Congressional Record is comprised of three parts: the Proceedings, the Daily Digest, and the Index. To eliminate confusion deciding which title corresponds to which item number, the following changes have been made to the distribution of the paper format of the bound Congressional Record:

• Item number 0993-A-01 will be used to distribute the Proceedings. This item number is only available to regional libraries and to selectives serving as regional libraries.
• Item number 0993-B will be used to distribute the Index and is available to both regional libraries and selectives.
• Item number 0993-B-01 is a recently created item number and will be used to distribute the Daily Digest. This will be available to both regionals and selectives.

All regional libraries and selective libraries serving as regional libraries will have item numbers 0993-A-01, 0993-B, and 0993-B-01 added to their item selection profiles. All selective libraries will have 0993-B and 0993-B-01 added to their item selection profiles. Please use the Amendment to Item Selection form to make any adjustments to your item selection profiles if you do not wish to receive future issues of these titles.

These changes are effective as of Shipping List 2010-0082-S, which contains the following titles:

Bound Congressional Record Index, Vol. 144, Part 20, A-K and L-Z
Bound Congressional Record Index, Vol. 145, Part 22, A-K and L-Z

This decision does not impact Congressional Record volumes distributed in microfiche under item numbers 0993-A or 0993-C.
