New GitHub Collection of CGP Records for Updating Databases

GPO’s Library Technical Services (LTS) has posted a new GitHub collection of 226 records for updating databases in the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP). The Updating Databases Collection is part of the CGP on GitHub repository. The databases provide access to publications, statistics, journal articles, and other types of information. Due to the different cataloging/metadata policies, procedures, and practices that LTS has followed, the collection does not include all records for updating databases in the CGP.

The collection offers a file of the MARC records and a comma-separated values (CSV) file of the major metadata elements in the records.
