New Updates to the LTS Information Portal

In June 2022, Library Services & Content Management launched the LSCM Library Technical Services (LTS) Information Portal to provide information and news about the work of Library Technical Services staff as well as resources and updates about cataloging/metadata for U.S. Government publications. Staff have completed a major review and finished a number of revisions to the content and organization of the tabs.

On the Cataloging/Metadata Initiatives tab, information is now available on several LTS projects, including Congressional Research Service Reports, FRASER (Federal Reserve Archival System for Economic Research), and the Historic Shelflist.

On the Cataloging Resources tab, new links to resources are now available, such as BIBFRAME, and links have been alphabetized for ease of use.

Reviews and edits will take place periodically to continually enhance the LibGuide. Please submit your comments and suggestions via askGPO in the “Cataloging/Metadata (Policy and Records)” category.
