UCUP Seeks Input at Virtual Snack with Council Session

Please join members of the Unique Challenges, Underserved Populations, and Federal Depository Libraries (UCUP) Subcommittee of the Depository Library Council at a Virtual Snack Session on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (EDT), part of the fall 2024 Federal Depository Library Conference.

The Snack forum is an opportunity for you to share your experiences and thoughts about barriers your patrons face in accessing Government information. UCUP conducted several focus groups throughout the summer, and in this session, UCUP aims to gather additional input from the depository library community on the following issues:

Digital Divide
Language Barriers
Mistrust of Government
Outreach
Training
Budget & Administration

A handout that describes the purpose of each issue and provides the questions asked during the focus groups is available for download.
