Upcoming Positions Available at GPO: Senior Outreach Librarians

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking Senior Outreach Librarians to join the Library Services & Content Management (LSCM) team. The incumbents will serve in the Federal Depository Support Services (FDSS) unit of LSCM. FDSS provides one-on-one support and operational consultation services for library staff who participate in the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). Senior Outreach Librarians provides support and training for the available services and products offered by LSCM which aid FDLP libraries in the provision of, and access to, Government information for their communities. Senior Outreach Librarians are also responsible for advising FDLs in implementing and maintaining the membership requirements of the FDLP and the operation of individual Federal depository collections in all formats, as well as serving as experts on policy and best practices in library operations.
