Register for the webinar, “Researching Women's, Gender, and LGBTQIA+ Perspectives at the Library of Congress," which has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Those that registered for the original March 19 event do not need to re-register; however, you may want to update the webinar date in your calendars. Updated login information will be emailed to everyone the day before the webinar.

  • Speaker: Meg Metcalf, Reference Librarian, Newspaper & Current Periodical Reading Room Collection Specialist, Women's Gender and LGBTQIA+ Studies, General and International Collections, Library of Congress
  • Learning outcomes: Meg Metcalf (they/them) will discuss the Women’s, Gender, and LGBTQIA+ Studies collections and research at the Library of Congress. The presentation will include a general overview of Library of Congress collections (including digital/web archives), selected treasures and collection strengths, as well as provide updates on recent acquisitions.

Prior to the webinar:

For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
