A webinar originally scheduled to take place on July 14, 2022, has been rescheduled. “There’s a Week for That: Exploring Federal Government Resources for Diverse Weekly Celebrations" will be presented on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. (EDT).

Those who registered for the original webinar will not need to register again. New login information will be emailed the day before the webinar. Those interested in registering for the rescheduled webinar may do so now.

There’s National Nurses Week, National Health Education Week, Celebrating Women in Construction Week, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Exceptional Children’s Week. If you have become alienated from a friend or family member, you can take advantage of National Reconciliation Week. For those of us in the library and information world, there’s Book Week, Banned Book Week, and National Library Week. This webinar will include Federal, state, and local resources, as well as offer some resources in other languages. These weekly celebrations provide insight into our tremendous diversity as a Nation, so come along for some fun and learning.

Prior to the webinar:
For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
