FDLP Conference Planning 2023 – 2024

GPO’s Library Services & Content Management (LSCM) has been working to investigate a return to hybrid, in-person/virtual events, such as the annual Federal Depository Library Conference. Due to numerous factors, including the elevated potential for a Government shutdown in the fall, the high cost of hotels and travel to the D.C. area, the availability of hotel contracts in the D.C. area, and ongoing COVID considerations, the fall 2023 Federal Depository Library Conference will be held as an all-virtual event.

We recognize the importance and invaluable benefits of offering a hybrid in-person/virtual event, and our staff is now exploring a spring 2024 event to be held in a city outside of the D.C. area. This approach will mitigate several challenges, and we would appreciate your feedback as we work to produce an event that will be beneficial for the FDLP community.
