The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking a Supervisory Training Administrator to join the Library Services & Content Management (LSCM) team. The incumbent will serve in the Federal Depository Support Services unit of LSCM as Supervisor and team lead for instructional and educational programming and coordinate the planning, development, and delivery of education and instructional activities and materials in support of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) and in support of the mission and objectives of the Superintendent of Documents. This includes the direction of the no-fee, publicly-accessible FDLP Academy in support of the FDLP.

Duties:

  • Determine requirements for revision of existing librarian instructional and training program.
  • Confer with curriculum designers, course writers, instructors and subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate the work of teaching and curriculum staff to ensure the application of proven methods and techniques.
  • Develop marketing and public relations materials to promote the FDLP Academy.
