Request for Comments: Draft Policy on FDLP Distribution

The Superintendent of Documents seeks your comments about the proposed draft Public Policy Statement, “Print Distribution and Access to Government Publications in a Digital Federal Depository Library Program” (SOD-PPS-7-2025).

The purpose of this policy is to establish parameters for limiting print distribution to Federal depository libraries and to make digital Government public information accessible through the Federal Depository Library Program. This draft policy is a revision of SOD 301, “Dissemination/Distribution Policy for the Federal Depository Library Program,” which became effective in 2006.
