2024 Fall DLC: We the Healthy: Utilizing Government Information for Health Studies Library Instruction

This session will describe the integration of Government information resources to health studies. Hired as a Government Information Librarian, the presenter has since taken on roles as a Public Health Liaison and Social Work Liaison at their academic library. Much of the instruction and research resources provided to students in these departments are actually Government information resources. While this particular case comes from an academic library, the presentation will also be pertinent to depository coordinators from public, law and special libraries, as examples of reference inquiries will encompass all types of library patrons.
