Description

As librarians, we frequently find ourselves navigating new tools—exploring their potential and deciding how best to integrate (or not integrate) them in various contexts. This session will introduce and explore the complexities of Artificial Intelligence (AI), from the way we discuss it to its practical applications and the ethical dilemmas it presents. We will talk about a snapshot of current AI tools; share real-life examples of their use in libraries, including teaching and AI literacies; and offer tips for navigating a messy love-hate relationship with AI.
