Description
The National Transportation Library (NTL) is a born-digital library which collects Government-funded transportation research and other materials, provides reference services to the public, coordinates the National Transportation Knowledge Network, and supports BTS transportation statistical data products. Created by the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century, it is funded under the highway trust fund laws that are passed every five years. NTL also hosts the USDOT archives, and our historian/archivist manages that collection and makes materials available to DOT staff and the public.
