Partnership imageThere are six types of official GPO partnerships in which institutions can take part. Official partners enter into signed formal institutional agreements with GPO.

  6. Other/Specialized: GPO will consider all partnership proposals that support free public access to U.S. Government information.

How to Become a GPO Partner

Please contact us via askGPO to learn more about how your institution can participate. When submitting a question, select the category, “Partnerships.”

The process is easy. Once you submit your inquiry, a member of GPO’s staff will reach out to coordinate on the specifics of the partnership and then work with your organization to formalize the agreement with a Memorandum of Agreement.

GPO partner logos are available for use on websites, social media, or in printed educational or promotional materials. Use of the logos is great way to promote your library and convey its important role as an official GPO partner.
