The DDWG conducted a 14-question survey to gain a better understanding of who is finding unreported documents and to learn what happens after discovery. This is a report of the responses. Originally titled “Fugitive Reporting Survey,” the title was changed when the Superintendent of Documents announced it would no longer use the word “fugitive” to refer to unreported or uncataloged Government publications. This is also included in Appendix II of the Digital Deposit Working Group’s final report.
The Visualizing Digital Deposit Subgroup of the Digital Deposit Working Group was tasked with exploring or “visualizing” what the deposit of digital content by GPO to Federal depository libraries might look like. The approached taken was to obtain feedback from interviews with librarians that represented 10 different business cases. This is a report of the subgroup’s findings. This report is also included as Appendix V of the Digital Deposit Working Group’s final report.
