Fall FDL Conference Deadlines Approaching: Volunteer to Present, and Submit Library Award Nominations by September 3, 2024

GPO is still seeking presenters for educational sessions at the fall 2024 Federal Depository Library Conference (October 21 -23), but the deadline to volunteer is approaching (Tuesday, September 3, 2024). Presentations can cover introductory to advanced information on topics related to U.S. Government information resources and librarianship. Volunteer to present an educational session.
GPO is also seeking nominations for two Federal depository library awards, Library of the Year and Library Website of the Year. Learn more, and nominate libraries. The deadline to submit nominations is Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

- Volunteer to present a virtual poster.
- Showcase your FDLP activities, services, or resources by displaying a virtual poster in our poster gallery. Presenters will create a PDF or image file (.png preferred) and submit a short paragraph description of the poster for attendees to browse. The deadline for poster proposals is Friday, September 20, 2024.
- Volunteer to exhibit a product or service in our virtual exhibit hall.
- Demonstrate, display, and promote products, resources, tools, and services to conference attendees in our exhibitor gallery. Exhibitors will submit PDF or image files (.png preferred), a paragraph description of the products or services for attendees to browse, and contact information for the organization. The deadline for exhibitor proposals is Friday, September 20, 2024.
Leading up to the conference, the FDLP Preconference: Updates from GPO’s Library Services & Content Management, is taking place October 16, 2024, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. GPO staff will provide updates on projects and initiatives underway in LSCM. Register to attend.
