The FDLP PURL Usage Report is used by libraries to create monthly reports of their usage of PURLs at their library. Reports are based off IP address and hostname/domain name patterns input by library staff. For libraries that have configured their report, a monthly email goes out when the report is available, and they may log in to the FDLP PURL Usage Report tool to download the report.

Previously, the email about the report being available was limited to one person. An enhancement has enabled the addition of one more email recipient.

Please log in and review your Library Dashboard tab in the FDLP PURL Usage Report. Send an askGPO inquiry if the name of the person listed and their email address needs to be updated. Also include the email address of an additional email recipient, if desired.

Recorded training and a tutorial on the FDLP PURL Usage Report tool are available. General information about PURLs, including basic information about the FDLP PURL Usage Report is also available: Persistent Uniform Resource Locator (PURL): Explanation, Purpose, and Tracking Usage at Your Library

If you have any questions, please use askGPO, and select the category, “Other depository library question or issue.”
