Microfiche Distribution Update

The final issue of the Code of Federal Regulations in microfiche format has been distributed to selecting libraries. The final shipping list for this publication is 2022-0038-M.

Here are some reminders:

  1. Microfiche conversion is wrapping up for House and Senate Journals and all SuDocs beginning with Y 1 and Y 4. For a list of the content impacted, consult Microfiche Titles on Contract Ending April 30, 2022.
  2. Anticipated timelines for the end of FDLP microfiche distribution of the Bound Congressional Record, Federal Register, List of Sections Affected, and daily Congressional Record are available on the Discontinuation of Microfiche Distribution to FDLP Libraries project page.
  3. All titles previously distributed in microfiche format are available in paper and EL (online) format. Libraries may add the paper format to their Selection Cart in DSIMS. Paper selections must be entered by September 30, 2022; all paper selections will go into effect on October 1, 2022. EL (online) format selections go into effect immediately.

At this point in time, 78% of microfiche items have completed their final distribution.
