The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking a Metadata Integrity Librarian to join the Library Services & Content Management (LSCM) team. The incumbent will serve in the Library Technical Services unit of LSCM. 

Duties include: 

  • Performs a variety of duties related to database maintenance, quality assurance and bibliographic/authority control supporting LSCM's efforts to create/improve/maintain quality products, services, and systems for all users.
  • Applies expert knowledge of cataloging and bibliographic control (continuing resources and monographs), as well as authority control in conducting database maintenance activities in the ILS.
  • Uses extensive knowledge of both current and historic GPO practice and standards.
