The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) is seeking a Supervisory Librarian to join the Library Services & Content Management (LSCM) team. The incumbent will assess the technological needs of internal and external customers utilizing a variety of tools, surveys, focus groups and feedback in order to upgrade existing platforms and develop new applications and services. They will serve as a key lead on strategic technology planning for the LSCM business unit, interfacing with GPO IT and ensuring that technology meets the goals of the Superintendent of Documents and serves key stakeholders. The incumbent will provide leadership for the management, oversight and strategic direction of systems and services, many of which are unique to library operations such as an Integrated Library System (ILS). They will also direct and manage long-range work plans to accomplish the operational goals and strategic objectives for the public information programs of the Superintendent of Documents and the LSCM business unit.
