GPO and the Depository Library Council (DLC) will host four National Collection Service Area (NCSA) collaborative Collection Development meetings in the Midwest, Northeast, South, and West to discuss next steps for the new limited print distribution framework. This includes collection development decisions about print titles, requirements for obtaining titles in print, and criteria for priority selection.

These meetings are scheduled for the week of November 13, 2023. Please see the specific dates and times for your service area below.

Library staff involved in your library’s collection development and depository operations are encouraged to attend your library’s NCSA meeting. GPO and the DLC will be arranging follow-up meetings for NCSA collections coordination in the coming weeks and months to support the transition to a digital FDLP.

To see where your library fits within the NCSA framework (Midwest, Northeast, South and West), please consult the National Collection Service Areas map, or search for your library’s entry in the FDL Directory
