Reminder - Upcoming Virtual Meetings about the Digital FDLP

In August 2023, the Superintendent of Documents sent all depository library coordinators and directors a letter on the Transformation to a Digital Federal Depository Library Program .

GPO is inviting all libraries to a virtual meeting to receive an overview of upcoming changes to the FDLP.

Four virtual meetings will be held, one for each National Collection Service Area (NCSA). Library staff involved in your library’s depository operation are encouraged to attend your library’s NCSA meeting. If you are unable to attend your service area’s meeting, please attend any other meeting that fits your schedule. These meetings will be recorded, and all registrants will receive a link to the recording. All meetings are one hour.

To learn more about your NCSA region, please consult the National Collection Service Areas map, or search for your library’s entry in the FDL Directory.

Registration confirmation information:
Upon registering, a confirmation email from [email protected] will be sent with instructions for joining the virtual meeting. To ensure delivery of that email, configure your junk mail or spam filter(s) to permit messages from that address. GPO staff will also email your access information the day before the webinar. If you do not receive your login information, please email [email protected].

Prior to the virtual meeting:
For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
