Sad News to Share about LSCM Teammate, Joe Paskoski

GPO mourns the loss of our teammate Joe Paskoski.  He passed away on October 7, 2024, after a brief illness. Joe had 52 years of Federal service, beginning his career at GPO in 1985 working with our FDLP partners.

Many of you worked with Joe in different capacities. He started at GPO as a depository inspector, worked in web content, and then as a Senior Outreach Librarian. A little-known fact about Joe is that he designed the original FDLP Desktop website, which is today known as FDLP.gov. Joe loved working in LSCM, at GPO, and with the library coordinators and staff of the FDLP. He will be deeply missed by his colleagues and teammates both at GPO and in the Federal depository library community.
