GPO is working with the University of Michigan’s School of Information to conduct an assessment of user experiences with GPO’s ISO-16363 certified digital repository, GovInfo. Over the next several months, a team of four students from the School of Information’s Needs Assessment and Usability Evaluation - SI 622 course will conduct virtual interviews, perform virtual usability tests (beginning March 13), and solicit responses via a questionnaire. GovInfo users from the Federal Government, Federal libraries, and the Federal depository library community have been invited to participate. Preliminary findings from the students’ project will be shared at the Spring 2023 Depository Library Council Virtual Meeting.

A link to the GovInfo user questionnaire will be emailed directly to FDLP Coordinators. Please be on the lookout and complete the questionnaire by Friday, March 24, 2023.

The staff at GPO thanks those who have already participated in preliminary interviews and encourages the entire FDLP community to offer their perspectives as this project progresses.
