  • Learning outcomes: Ever wonder how the 11 Federal holidays became national holidays? This webinar will look at the history of these holidays from the very first one to Juneteenth, the latest Federal holiday. We’ll explore why these days are important enough to be national days of celebration. The labor laws surrounding these days are also important. Are you entitled to have the day off? Do states have to comply with these laws? Do banks and businesses have to be closed? Just for fun, we’ll throw in some interesting state and local holidays celebrated around the country. As always, there are resources in other languages for your users that we’ll also discuss. Come and join us for a fun journey through the year of our national holidays.
