  • Learning outcomes: The U.S. Census Bureau is the official source of U.S. import and export statistics, and these are updated monthly. USA Trade Online, the Census API, and the Global Market Finder are tools that provide free access to this data. Through the FDLP, users also have access to the detailed Merchandise Trade Files. These data resources give users of all levels of data need and experience access to the most current U.S. international trade data. With multiple data sets and capabilities, these resources offer the most accurate and timely access to official U.S. trade data. 

    This webinar will provide a live demonstration of the Census Trade Data tools available to FDLP members and how a user can successfully navigate to find data to grow global business operations.

Prior to the webinar:
For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
