  • Learning outcomes: National Preparedness Month is an observance each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time. Join FEMA as we discuss the importance of being prepared for disasters and an overview of FEMA’s free research and tools to build and sustain capabilities to prepare for any emergency. From online training, youth curriculum, physical outreach materials, and preparedness programs, we have a suite of resources that you can leverage to help prepare yourself and members of your community.

Prior to the webinar:
For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
