  • Learning outcomes: This presentation will share outreach and engagement strategies for Government information at Florida State University (FSU) and in the Tallahassee community. As a depository library, FSU provides access to a collection of U.S. Government, United Nations, and state of Florida publications. By employing various methods attuned to differing patron needs, FSU has implemented digital and in-person outreach strategies that bring Government information to the forefront of our services. This presentation will contribute to the conversation about outreach strategies for Government information and will benefit public and academic institutions looking to develop programming around collections and services.

For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
