Join us for an exploration of the abundant resources available to celebrate well-known monthly holidays such as African American History Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month, and Women’s History Month. We’ll also look at months designated to our health concerns such as National Yoga Month, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mental Health Awareness Month, and Lung Cancer Awareness Month. Other monthly holidays highlight our diversity such as National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month. There are also months dedicated to specific groups such as National Inventor’s Month and Military Child Month. This webinar will provide resources for learning about these monthly celebrations. Also included will be some local and state resources for these monthly holidays and some resources in other languages. Each of these months celebrates some portion of our tremendous national diversity and lets us learn more about each other.
