Newly Added Item Selections Now Active

Libraries that added item numbers to their Depository Selection Information Management System (DSIMS) selection cart will note that they were activated in their item selection profile over the weekend of April 24, 2022. New tangible format selections will begin distribution as content is published under those item numbers. Some titles may have to be shipped short until order quantities stabilize, in which case, regional copies and Preservation Steward copies will be prioritized.

Use Item Lister or DSIMS to check your library’s selection profile. Alert staff who process depository boxes or catalog material to the new item number selections. Notify your catalog record vendor of the change, if applicable.

This was a special item selection update opportunity as part of the microfiche elimination process. Any item numbers added to DSIMS selections carts beginning today will become effective October 1, 2022.
