Depository Library Council Seeks Subcommittee Volunteers
The Depository Library Council’s Collection and Discovery Services Subcommittee seeks two members of the depository library community to serve alongside Council and U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) members.
The Collection and Discovery Services Subcommittee assists in coordinating the thoughts, research, plans, and efforts to move the FDLP forward and to expand and enhance the services GPO provides to the FDLP community and stakeholders; and seeks ways in which to encourage engagement and participation of Federal depository libraries in cataloging/metadata, technical services, and collection management issues.
Please review the charter for further details on the Subcommittee. If you are interested in serving on this Subcommittee, please provide a statement to demonstrate interest, expertise, or experience working with collections and/or metadata in a depository library environment to Valerie Glenn, Chair of the Subcommittee, by May 12, 2023.<
Terms will be for two years, beginning on June 1, 2023, and ending May 31, 2025.
