Historic Depository Shipping Lists Now Available on GovInfo

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) has completed digitization of 11,140 historic depository shipping lists, primarily print, from 1980-1989. GPO plans to digitize additional shipping lists in FY 2024 and beyond.

Depository shipping lists, and their predecessors, list the publications that were mailed to libraries in depository distribution boxes. Numbering and organization changed over time, as new publication formats became available.

From the Depository Shipping Lists browse page on GovInfo, shipping lists can be browsed by date published and distributed format (i.e., print, microfiche, separates). To search across all shipping lists, click on All Depository Shipping Lists, Depository Invoices, and Depository Shipments.
