- Speaker: Heidi J. Joseph, Director of the Research Utilization Division, Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
- Learning outcomes: Heidi will give attendees a tour of the HUD User website. HUD User is one of HUD’s official Government websites, along with HUD.gov. HUD User is managed by HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research, and it serves as the central location for HUD research, datasets, and U.S. Housing Market Conditions reports. With more than 10,000 full abstracts of research reports, articles, books, and data sources and an average monthly download of over 950K files in FY 2023, HUD User is a key Governmental resource for individuals engaged in the housing and community development space. In addition to research reports and datasets, the website hosts PD&R’s flagship publications, including Cityscape (an academic journal) and PD&R Edge (a biweekly emagazine).

Prior to the webinar:
For those participating via a desktop or laptop computer (preferred method), a WebEx plug-in must be installed (one-time only). Download instructions. Some features will not be available for users participating with a tablet or smartphone. Devices need to have a WebEx app installed from the device’s app store, which may take time. After installation, the app will ask for you to Allow or Deny permissions.
