Pocket Constitution: Tangible Distribution and Special Opportunity for Non-Selecting Libraries

The Constitution of the United States and the Declaration of Independence (Pocket Constitution) will be distributed in tangible format to depository libraries beginning July 2, 2019. Cataloging and distribution information is as follows:

The Superintendent of Documents has acquired an additional 200 copies of the Pocket Constitution for distribution to depository libraries that do not select item number 0996-A. This includes all digital or mostly digital depository libraries that do not currently select tangible item numbers.

Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Libraries that do not select item number 0996-A can request ONE copy of the Pocket Constitution for their depository collection, which will be subject to the same retention requirements as tangible materials distributed to depository libraries through item selection.
