2014 Fall DLC: Online Congressional Hearing Project

In late FY14, staff in LSCM began a project to identify congressional publications (hearings in the Y4 SuDoc class stems) that do not have an electronic version available on GPO’s Federal Digital System (FDsys), but that were published and distributed to libraries in a print and microfiche format from 1995 through 2012.  As a secondary goal, the project will also identify any cataloging gaps. This session will discuss the methodology used for this project, highlight the progress of the project, and provide preliminary results of the analysis.
