This session features representatives from USC Aiken, The Citadel, and The South Carolina State Library, who will share their diverse approaches to navigating new, more efficient processes for cataloging Government information. Attendees will learn about practical, low-cost strategies for metadata and cataloging and gain insights into adapting to a rapidly changing landscape as the FDLP undergoes restructuring and libraries increasingly shift towards digital collections. The speakers will offer inspiration and actionable ideas for maintaining effective Government information services, including updating cataloging processes, enhancing library guides, and strengthening outreach efforts. This session aims to equip libraries with the tools and motivation to sustain their depository missions in the face of evolving challenges.
