Join Marty as he demonstrates how name authority records have changed with the implementation of the Resource Description and Access (RDA) cataloging standard. A basic overview of how to interpret these records is provided.

GPO’s Bibliographic and Metadata Section has been creating and modifying name authority records for library catalogs since 1977. GPO is the expert on corporate body records for U.S. Government agencies and bureaus, and also creates and modifies authority records for other corporate bodies, persons and places.
