Supporting the Public's Right to Know: Engaging Users in Government Information at Florida State University

This presentation shares outreach and engagement strategies for Government information at Florida State University (FSU) and in the Tallahassee community. As a depository library, FSU provides access to a collection of U.S. Government, United Nations, and state of Florida publications. By employing various methods attuned to differing patron needs, FSU has implemented digital and in-person outreach strategies that bring Government information to the forefront of our services. This presentation will contribute to the conversation about outreach strategies for Government information and will benefit public and academic institutions looking to develop programming around collections and services.
