This Superintendent of Documents Public Policy Statement (SOD-PPS-7-2025) establishes a framework for limited distribution of print Government publications through the Federal Library Program in which digital is the preferred format for access. This policy is effective March 31, 2025 and supersedes SOD 301 dated 09/28/2006.

Provides regional depository libraries flexibility in building and providing service to their Federal depository collections by allowing them to select “online” (EL) as a format without having to make a corresponding tangible selection. This supersedes SOD-PPS-2021-1, effective Date: 08/31/2021.
