Jane Canfield, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico provides a presentation in English and Spanish on the use of government documents in the process of research and investigation.
This session explores ways in which government information can shed light on the causes of the war, the relationships integral to it, and the outcomes that resulted. It will also describe some of the lasting impacts not often thought of as directly war-related.

Web published content has moved from its position as an additional access method to the primary publishing platform for much of the content created by the Federal Government. The Web provides a variety of challenges and opportunities for building meaningful collections and providing access to end users. This panel will discuss the basic building blocks of Web archiving as well as updating the community on efforts to harvest and preserve federal Web content.
This presentation includes information regarding the planning, procedure, and final result of an extensive weeding project, as well as a discussion of the impact of HathiTrust Digital Library document availability and a state-wide light archives agreement.
